Further Details

Utilizing our skills and expertise in tubing applications, we specialize in manufacturing Exhaust Gas Recirculation Tubes, where a flexible bellow is incorporated as an integral part of the structure. Designed and developed as per the customer requirements and tested to withstand the vibrational stress of high temperatures, these EGR tubing can be provided with accessories such as coupling clamps, to couple the EGR tubes with the mating castings.ALFA EGR (Exhaust Gas Re-circulation) tubes are custom designed on individual requirements for after treatment of exhaust gases.

Design Features

In new generation direct injection diesel engines the exhaust gas is conveyed into the carburetted fuel zone through the EGR tubes and EGR radiators. The EGR tubes connect the control valve of intake assembly to the exhaust pipe assembly. The re-circulation of exhaust gases through EGR radiators into the combustion chamber of engine, increases the efficiency and reduces the fuel consumption of the engine.

The EGR tubes have hydraulically formed corrugations of appropriate numbers and length integrated with plain tubes. Due to these bellow formations the EGR tubes can bend in desired angular configuration. These corrugations are excellent means for absorption of vibrations and compensation for thermal expansion.

EGR tubes are developed according to customers requirements and applications.

Versatile EGR Tube Solutions

Our EGR tubes cater to diverse automotive needs, providing universal compatibility for a broad range of passenger and commercial vehicles. Whether for standard replacements or custom projects, our solutions can be tailored as per design specifications. Manufactured to the highest standards, our tubes ensure reliable performance under varying engine conditions.

Engineered for Performance & Compliance

Crafted from high-quality materials, our EGR tubes are designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures, optimizing the recirculation of exhaust gases for enhanced emission control. These features help your vehicles meet stringent emission norms while supporting overall engine efficiency and longevity.

FAQs of EGR Tubes:

Q: How are your EGR tubes customized to fit different vehicle models?

A: Our EGR tubes can be manufactured with custom widths, section sizes, and specifications based on your design requirements, ensuring seamless compatibility with various passenger and commercial vehicle models.

Q: What materials are used in the construction of your EGR tubes?

A: We use annealed or tempered metals, depending on the application, to ensure high durability and resistance to both temperature and pressure in automotive exhaust environments.

Q: When should EGR tubes be replaced in a vehicle?

A: EGR tubes should be inspected regularly and replaced when signs of clogging, corrosion, or leakage are observed to maintain optimal emission control and engine performance.

Q: Where can your EGR tubes be installed?

A: Our EGR tubes are designed for use in automobile exhaust and emission systems, suitable for both standard and custom vehicle configurations.

Q: What is the process for ordering customized EGR tubes?

A: You can provide your specifications, such as width, section size, and material preferences, and our team will manufacture EGR tubes tailored to your requirements for either domestic or export supply.

Q: How do EGR tubes contribute to emission control?

A: EGR tubes recirculate a portion of exhaust gases back into the engine, lowering combustion temperature and reducing NOx emissions, thereby aiding compliance with emission standards.

Q: What are the benefits of using high-quality EGR tubes?

A: High-quality EGR tubes improve engine efficiency, help vehicles meet emission regulations, and offer robust performance due to their resistance to high temperatures and pressures.
